Catherine is the Chief Executive Officer of the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS), the nation’s first community foundation. Since 2012, Catherine has led CFS to become one of Singapore’s largest philanthropic foundations.
With over 20 years of experience in the financial services prior to joining CFS, Catherine’s background in investment banking and fund management has equipped her to help donors make impactful social investments through philanthropy.
Catherine has been actively volunteering since 2002. She is passionate about education and currently sits on the Board of Governors of Temasek Polytechnic and is Chairperson of its School of Humanities & Social Sciences’ School Advisory Committee. She is also the Chairperson of the School Advisory Committee of Telok Kurau Primary School and she serves on the investment committees of Wealth Management Institute, Assisi Hospice, Metta Welfare Association.
Catherine is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and graduated with an Honours degree in Economics and Statistics from the National University of Singapore. She joined CFS on 3 January 2012.
